Oh my. She's really a toddler. I've been in denial ever since her first birthday...then a couple weeks later she started walking and I had to start admitting she wasn't a baby anymore. Now at 15 months, there's no denying that she's well into toddlerhood and loving it. This stage is so much fun...I am sad when I think about how tiny she was and how quickly she's grown, but each new stage is even more fun than the one before! Arden is so precocious, so funny, so entertaining. I can't keep up with how quickly she picks up new things! This little girl is so sweet, so loving. She gives the best hugs, and sweet kisses too.
A few more tidbits about this sweet little girl:
*One of her newest things is to say "WHOA" when she almost falls, or if something dramatic happens. Along with the most serious face you can imagine.
*I call her snickerdoodle because it just fits. She makes me snicker.
*She thinks the "shOW-ay" (shower) is one of the neatest inventions ever.
*Her memory astounds me! Sometimes I think she's just repeating a word after me, but later on realize she knows what she's saying and randomly uses it for the correct object.
*Although I listed about 93 words in the previous post about her vocabulary, she's added about 5-10 more just since then! Almost 100 words at 15 months. I forgot to say before that she says "Papa", "Nana", "Grandpa" and tries very hard to say "Grandma".
*She was talking to "Abby" during meeting on Sunday...they were right behind us and she just kept saying "Abby! Abby!". And when Abigail got in trouble and started crying, Arden put on her sad face and said "Abby. Sad!" and imitated Abigail's cry.
*She just absorbs every little tidbit of information, it seems! She loves experimenting with new sounds, and repeats just about everything we say. "Celery" "okay" "sure" "humidifier"
*Although she is intrigued by dogs still, she is terrified when they bark. She comes running to me with the most fearful expression and panic on her face. So sad.
There are so many memorable moments and it's just impossible to try to remember them all and write them down. I do my best, but at the rate she learns and makes new impressions on me, and with my horrible case of pregnancy brain, I just can't capture it all.
Arden's 15 month stats:
weight: 20.5 lbs-13th percentile
height: 33 inches-97th percentile
head circumference: 18.5 inches-77th percentile

Why why WHY do I look at your stupid blog? It makes me cry every single time. Arden is precious and I want a little girl just like her.
